The following is a list of available opportunities to attach a corporate, institutional, or individual name, or that of an honored American Sailor to a designated space within the National Museum of the American Sailor (NMAS). 

All naming requests will be received and considered on a first submitted basis. All naming requests are subject to final approval, at the exclusive and unrestricted discretion of the National Museum of the American Sailor Foundation (NMASF) and Naval History and Heritage Command (NHHC), as representative for the National Museum of the American Sailor. 

The naming opportunities and contribution amounts identified below are requested minimum contribution amounts and may be modified at the discretion of the National Museum of the American Sailor Foundation. Special requests related to area, element, and/or exhibit naming opportunities may be received and considered at the discretion of the National Museum of the American Sailor and Naval History and Heritage Command. A corporation, institution, or individual(s) may secure the honor to add their name(s) as part of the official designation of the National Museum of the American Sailor. Prominently displayed on, throughout, and within all Museum signage and materials the desiring entity will prominently demonstrate and be recognized for their commitment to the American Sailor.

Name the Museum Auditorium
Truly experiencing the depth of contributions made by the American Sailor is not possibly by simply visiting and viewing the static exhibits. The auditorium of the National Museum of the American Sailor will provide live, video, and simulcast presentations, lectures, speeches, and ceremonies (graduation, homecomings, others) to visually, audibly, and emotionally connect people to the experiences of the American Sailor.

Naval oriented works of art capture and convey the sense of pride and shared sacrifice that are hallmarks of the American Sailor. Following World War II hundreds of naval works of art, which have never been publically displayed, were donated to the U.S. Navy by Abbott Laboratories Corporation. Abbott has called the communities of Great Lakes and North Chicago home for more than 100 years. 

These works of art will be coming “home” to the National Museum of the American Sailor. Consider linking your corporation, institution, or individual(s) name to this incredible art asset.

The Reflecting Pool/Water Feature at the National Museum of the American Sailor is a representative reminder of the steady leadership provided by the American Sailor.

The anchor is designed and intended to hold the ship firm no matter the conditions in which it may find itself. The Anchors of Honor Memorial at the National Museum of the American Sailor is designed and intended to represent and honor the American Sailor’s demonstrated capacity to endure, hold fast, and overcome no matter the challenges that may arise.
